LCL Group is looking for a driven individual who is eager to learn and work with us long term to assist with large federal projects and support our senior project manager, and/or project manage smaller scale projects on your own.
This is a full-time employee position, perfect for a unique individual with gumption and initiative, who can shift quickly in a fast-paced startup tech environment, who isn’t afraid to ask questions or share learnings, and who wants to invest in us as much as we want to invest in you.
In essence, we are looking for an emerging project leader who can grow into a Senior Management role and lead projects with our team. Grow and learn with us!

Leah Chang Learning Group is an online learning consultancy. We support organizations with curriculum design, learning technology and organizational strategy to engage their learners and meet their organizational or business goals.
We are a dynamic, fast-paced tech startup founded and run by women in tech. We work mostly with social justice projects and choose our clients and our colleagues with care. Approximately 80% of our work is directly in support of non-profit organizations across North America.

What you’ll do
The Assistant Project Manager provides organizational support to LCL and our client project teams through the life-cycle of a custom online learning project.
This role will executes the project plan and provides regular status updates to LCL leadership. You will work closely with the CEO and Project Manager to develop project plans and schedules and learn first-hand about business processes and management.
The role manages competing priorities and multiple projects. This role works with LCL consultants and clients to implement project plans, and is responsible for project budgets and consulting time tracking.

What you’ll do

Example of duties and responsibilities:
- Organizing project team meetings
- Documenting and communicating key takeaways and next step actionsTaking notes
- Preparing and updating project documentation
- Following up with task owners and clients
- Creating Powerpoint slides
- Preparing status reports to communicate progress
- Assisting with the project budgets and tracking resources
- Contributing to the planning and development of projects
- Supporting the coordination and management of projects
- Researching information as required.
- Performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Tracking and reporting on project progress.
- Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
